Winter Buddha Bowl

Because it’s the final day of February (the place did the time go?!) i’m sharing my go-to Buddha Bowl for the Winter season!

What’s a Buddha Bowl? It’s a wholesome bowl-style meal composed of a protein, a grain or starchy carbohydrate, 2-Three greens, and a few wholesome fats.

Protein: grilled rooster
Grain: jasmine rice
Greens: kale & broccoli
Fat: tahini & ghee

I plan on sharing one for every season utilizing produce that’s in season. Winter’s seasonal greens embrace broccoli and kale 🥦 🥬

Components:
– 6oz grilled rooster breast
– half of cup roasted broccoli
– half of cup cooked jasmine rice
– 1 cup kale
– 1 tbsp olive oil
– half of tbsp ghee
– 1 tbsp hemp hearts

Lemon tahini sauce
– 1 half of tbsp tahini
– half of lemon juiced
– 1/four tsp garlic powder
– half of tbsp water

Instructions:
Therapeutic massage kale in olive oil and sauté in a pan over medium warmth for two minutes. Subsequent mix all components for the sauce in a small bowl. Then toss cooked rice in melted ghee. Assemble plate by including sliced rooster, cooked kale, roasted broccoli, and rice. Sprinkle hemp hearts and drizzle sauce as desired.
